About John Rolander

John Rolander’s 30-year management consulting career has spanned three continents and dozens of countries. He is that rare consultant who is both an astute strategist and a consumate rainmaker for whom client focus is deeply-held principle, not a slogan. John specializes in assisting financial institutions to define competitive strategies, improve financial performance, and engage and mobilize employees to achieve performance objectives.

Previously, John was a Partner at Katzenbach Partners. Prior to joining Katzenbach Partners, he was a senior advisor at The Boston Consulting Group in its financial services practice area. Before that, he worked for several years as an independent advisor to the chairman of Merrill Lynch International. From 1994 to 1998 he led the financial services business for Gemini Consulting.

John holds a B.A. from Yale (cum laude), an M.Div. from Harvard, and an MBA from Columbia Business School (Phi Beta Kappa). He can be reached at
